The majority
of horses that come through Horse Haven were seized by law enforcement and most
of them arrive here with little back ground information and no equipment. While
the average pleasure horse has a wardrobe of tack and “stuff”, seized horses usually
don’t even have a decent halter. Since arrival at Horse Haven marks a new
beginning in the horse’s life, we like to provide each with a new halter. Your
donation of $15 or $20 will help us get a new halter for a new life for horses
like Hattie, who is waiting for her person at Horse Haven.
